Recently our Storm have been through a major team overhaul, putting in the hard yards and making some big improvements on the international stage! Within the last 5 years, our men’s players have been making Australia proud, moving up in the world rankings from 65th, all the way down to a recent (Nov 2025) updated world ranking of 15th! Our storm have come away with some shiny new carry-on from their trips in 2025 including:

  • Bronze medal in the 2025 Lithuania Invitational Cup

  • Bronze medal in the 2025 Berlin Nations Cup, and

  • 4th place in the 2025 Asia-Pacific Regional Championships held in Islamabad, Pakistan in October!

Our Storm are making waves in the international men’s goalball scene and we are here to support them all the way!

Probably going to Youth Worlds in 2019! The experience of it all but especially meeting people from so many different countries all at once was a blast!

What is the biggest dream you want to achieve in the sport?
I think everyone has the same answer here right haha? I think we’d all love to represent and do our best at the Paralympic Games.

What is your preferred type of training?
Definitely weights! I also love walking, but nothing beats getting to throw some goalballs.

What is your dream holiday destination?
The classic Europe traversal of course, but if I had to pick one it’d be probably Sweden!

How long have you been playing goalball?
Too long!!! Since 2009... 16 years

What do you do for study/work?
I run school incursions teaching mainstream school students about blind sports and giving them practical, firsthand experiences of those sports.

Stay in the squad for the 2032 Paralympics in Brisbane!

What is your preferred type of training?
When learning a new skill, breaking it down into different components. Focus on executing one component at a time. Take the time to get it right and slowly build up pace and intensity on that one component. Repeat that one specific thing until it’s perfected and habitual then build in the next thing and start again.

What is your dream holiday destination?
Anywhere as long as it's with my wonderful partner, Brittnee.

What is your favourite thing to do outside of goalball training?
Hunting down obscure foods and drink (on a budget)!

The highlight of my career would be when we beat Ukraine at the 2023 World Games. We were a fresh team and one of only two teams that beat Ukraine (Bronze medalists at that comp).
